Hangley Aronchick Segal Pudlin & Schiller associate Maureen P. Smith has joined the planning committee for the Philadelphia Bar Foundation’s 2012 Andrew Hamilton Gala: The Art of Gratitude. This event is the culmination of the foundation’s 2012 Access to Justice Campaign, and honors those who have furthered the cause of equal access to justice in the Philadelphia region.

Smith, an associate in the litigation department, practices in the antitrust group and also has considerable experience in government contracts, securities, and appellate litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm, she was an associate with WilmerHale in Washington, DC.

Smith earned her law degree, cum laude, from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law (2008), where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Catholic University Law Review. Following law school, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Paul J. Kelly of the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. Smith earned her undergraduate degree from Marquette University (2003). Before entering law school, she participated in a two-year leadership and community development fellowship with a leading non profit foundation in Colorado.
