Hangley Aronchick is proud to announce that Isabel Naveira López has been elected President of the Board of the Hispanic Bar Association of Pennsylvania Legal Education Fund (“HBALEF”). The HBALEF is a non-profit organization dedicated to the professional and educational advancement of Latinx in the legal profession. The organization awards scholarships each year to qualified law school students in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, not only to promote the success of Latinx law students, but also to attract more Latinx lawyers to practice in the region.

Isabel has been actively involved with the HBALEF for several years, most recently serving as Secretary of the Board of Directors. As President, she will be tasked with ensuring that the HBALEF’s scholarship mission is accomplished, and her duties will include leading the board, coordinating the scholarship selection and awarding process, and serving as the public representative of the HBALEF.

Isabel practices in the firm’s Insurance Coverage Group, handling a range of commercial litigation, insurance coverage, and bad faith matters. Within the firm, she serves as Vice Chair of the Hiring Committee and is an active member of the firm’s Associate Development Committee.

Isabel earned her law degree from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she was Associate Editor of the Moorad Sports Law Journal. She earned her undergraduate degree from Villanova University. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Joel Schneider, U.S.M.J. of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
