Hangley Aronchick Segal Pudlin & Schiller associate Andrew M. Erdlen has been elected to the Board of Directors of Philadelphia VIP, a non-profit legal services agency. VIP provides quality volunteer legal services and ensures access to justice for low-income Philadelphians.
An associate in the Litigation Department, Erdlen has represented clients in a wide range of complex commercial litigation, including contract, business torts, insurance coverage, and intellectual property matters. He has substantial experience in state and federal courts, at both trial and appellate levels.
Erdlen earned his law degree, cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a Notes & Articles Editor of the Fordham Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board. He earned his undergraduate degree in history from the University of Pennsylvania.

Philadelphia VIP, the hub of pro bono in Philadelphia, founded in 1981, provides legal services for low-income residents and families facing civil legal problems that threaten their basic human needs, including shelter, employment, financial stability, education and health. Today, VIP’s volunteers annually serve more than 3,500 individuals and families who could not otherwise afford attorneys and whose cases could or would not be handled by other public interest organizations.
