Hangley Aronchick Segal Pudlin & Schiller shareholder and firm President David Pudlin has been recognized with a 2017 Outstanding Director Award by the Philadelphia Business Journal for his position as Chair of the Board of Directors of Philadelphia Mural Arts Advocates. Pudlin joined the Board in 2009 and has served as Chair since 2014.
Mural Arts Philadelphia (Mural Arts) is the nation’s largest public art program, dedicated to the belief that art ignites change. For 30 years, Mural Arts has united artists and communities through a collaborative process, rooted in the traditions of mural-making, to create art that transforms public spaces and individual lives. Each year Mural Arts engages in 50-100 public art projects and 12,000 residents and visitors tour Mural Arts’ outdoor art gallery, which has earned Philadelphia international recognition as the “City of Murals.”
The Outstanding Director Award recognizes outside corporate and non-profit board directors who have provided exceptional service to their boards by exhibiting significant leadership skills along with important business knowledge.
The awards ceremony was held on Thursday, February 23rd from 6:00-9:00 PM at The Union League of Philadelphia.
