Hangley Aronchick Segal Pudlin & Schiller shareholder Cheryl L. Young has been named a member of the Board of Directors of the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association. As a board member, she will provide support and guidance to the organization, whose mission is to protect the quality and beauty of the Wissahickon Creek and to enhance life in its watershed by protecting open spaces, promoting environmental awareness, and preserving important historic sites.
Resident in the Norristown office, Young leads the firm’s Family Law Practice. She concentrates her practice in matrimonial law, including divorce, custody, support, property distribution and adoption. She has consistently been named a top family law attorney by local and national publications, and is active in the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project, Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania, and her state and local bar associations.
Young is a 1985 graduate of American University’s Washington College of Law, where she was a member of the American University Law Review. She received her undergraduate degree in 1982 from Michigan State University.
