Hangley Aronchick Segal Pudlin & Schiller has announced that Michael R. Carlson, Adena Herskovitz, and Dylan J. Steinberg have been elected shareholders of the firm, and Michele Sacks Fenkel has been elected Of Counsel. All four attorneys practice in the firm’s Philadelphia office.

Carlson focuses his practice on insurance coverage litigation matters. He is a cum laude graduate of Temple University School of Law, where he was a member of theTemple Law Review. He earned his BA from Pennsylvania State University. Before entering law school, he served for four years as a legislative aide to a United States senator.  After law school, Carlson was a law clerk for the Honorable Ronald Castille of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

Herskovitz practices in the Real Estate Department and represents and advises developers, owners, lenders, tenants, businesses and non-profits in a wide variety of transactional real estate matters. She is a graduate of Yale Law School and earned her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Williams College. She serves on the Board of Regional Housing Legal Services.

Steinberg focuses his practice on litigation matters, representing clients in a variety of industries.  He has represented pharmaceutical and technology companies in disputes involving software implementation and licensing and life sciences collaborations. He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was an Articles Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. He received his BA from Swarthmore College. Before joining the firm, he was a law clerk for the Honorable Stewart Dalzell of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Prior to law school, Steinberg worked as a technology consultant to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Fenkel focuses her practice on corporate and securities matters. She counsels public and private companies, entrepreneurs and executives on a variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, general corporate governance and partnership matters, commercial contracts, financings and securities offerings. She is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and earned her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to law school, Fenkel was an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York.
